The Fellowship of Stand-in Parents
Make it happen! Become the Difference!
I feel privileged to address you, for you are important to the Lord.
He has paid a high price for you, just as He has paid for millions out
there who have little hope to know how precious they are to Him.
As you would know, some children are well cared for within families
around the world; the so-called privileged children. They are cared
for:
- Emotionally; i.e. they receive privileges like being tugged in at
night, having stories read to them and learning about life skills
and moral values,
- Intellectually; receiving a good education, and
- Physically; having sufficient financial provision.
Do your children fall into this category?
We also get children who live in children's homes
where they do not necessarily receive the emotional
care a family usually offers. Mostly their basic needs
are met.
Finally, we all know about children who don't have
anything.
Out in the world are also millions of children who don't
have anybody who could lay a faith foundation for
them, onto which they could build a life of hope. You
can, however, make a difference for them.
Therefore, I have good news for you! Why not join
the Fellowship of Stand-in Parents?
In Matthew 19:14-15: Jesus said, "Let the little children
come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of
heaven belongs to such as these."
Wow, this is radical. Does it reflect your heart? It
certainly does mine. I have always believed children
are to God the most important people on earth, and He
will honour adults who think about children the way He
does. I think this quite possibly includes you as well.
Our lives as founders of Life in a Nutshell Training and organisers of the Faith Warriors Kids Clubs revolve
around serving children - it has been for years. On one occasion, we happened to become aware of the need
for a program that could teach children Bible knowledge - to help them obtain faith at an early age.
The Holy Spirit prompted us to make videos which could teach children deeper Biblical truths, life skills, and
moral values. He gave us the blueprint, and we started serving schools and aftercare centres with the videos

The 'Videos' page on the website contains the short videos, and the 'Faith Warrior Kids Club' page would take
you to the video library for the videos with the full presentation. On this page, you would also see what they do
for the kids who have online access via their home PC or their Smartphone. If you have watched the videos,
you would have noticed that they have a lot of interaction with the children watching these videos. The children
also have an opportunity to be rewarded for their involvement, and they are available to help them with
problems and concerns they may have.
However, as mentioned earlier, there are lots of children who
do not have the privilege of having access to the luxuries of
smartphones and computers. For them, we are putting their
full-length presentations onto DVDs to donate to as many
children's homes and aftercare centres as possible.
This material would give those children access to a little of
the kind of emotional care the privileged children have.
On top of that, we also get more open doors in a hundred-kilometre radius from where we live, to physically
present the program to children in farm communities, aftercare centres, and schools. We also train facilitators to
present the program.
Now for the exciting plan, we have for you. You can be part of this blessing!
In Psalm 68, God is called a father to the fatherless.
How does He do it? He makes use of people like you and us, which is why we believe the Lord has prompted us
to start the Fellowship of Stand-in Parents.
He has provided us with the ability to make these videos and DVDs. But since we don't sell them, we are
dependent on His provision to cover the cost of video production and distribution. We, therefore, need prayer
support. We can also do with other forms of support, such as help with open doors, advice and suggestions, and
whatever else the Holy Spirit wants to do through the fellowship members.
